A couple of cool chicks...

The other day I got to spend some time in the park with one of my favorite little girls and her super awesome, hippie chick mama, Laurin. I've been lucky enough to have been photographing Charlotte since before she was born, and cannot wait to go play again and get some more sweet shots of those big baby blues.

It's the most wonderful time of the year....

The breeze is blowing, flowers are blooming and every afternoon the girls and I are lazing about in the grass. Dinner is served on the picnic table and sleeping with the windows open is expected. We've traded our winter coats for flip flops. Now please someone, bring on the ice cream!

Happy, happy, joy, joy!

Some of my favorite images are not ones that were planned ahead or posed. Like life, they are spontaneous, slightly flawed, vibrant and beautiful. I hope you love them as much as I do.

Scatch, scratch...

I get itchy feet....no, not that kind! Ewww, gross!
I mean the kind of itchy feet that want to travel around, do things, see the world, meet new people. I was just sitting at my desk and found some CD's of pictures from a trip we took to Italy in '08. It was such fun and a beautiful place. I have tons of pictures of the scenery and the interesting characters we encountered. Luckily we were traveling with a super cool group of fellow photographers and friends. I laughed so hard that my abs hurt for days. We stayed in Rome for a bit and then traveled out to the countryside and hit some of the smaller towns and cities. Todi, Orvieto, Perugia, Narni...... yeah, I'm a lucky girl.

Anyway, I thought I'd share a few pics here because it's always nice to think of the places that we have been or may visit in the future.

Go Team!

Last spring my good friend and talented photographer, Martie, helped me out by assisting me at a gorgeous wedding in the lowcounty of SC. It was one of my favorite weddings ever, and I've been doing this for nearly 14 years! The bride and groom were funny, sweet and relaxed. The location and details were spectacular and working with Martie was a joy. So, I was extremely excited when Martie ask if I could return the favor and second shoot for her this spring. This will be my first wedding of the season and it's going to be great. We get to travel to Charlotte, NC and.....

wait for it......

the wedding is on a rooftop!
Fun, right?
Anyway, I am including some shots from our last collaboration here. Be on the lookout for our next team effort in April!
